Everyone, except my mother (of course), calls me Kate. Yes...Kate Moss. Usually when I introduce myself and state my name I get a little giggle, or a "Oh! I've heard of you!" No no, I promise you, you're probably thinking of the tall, blonde, extremely successful supermodel...not this short, half-asian, brunette. But hey, my name has always created great conversation and a lot of laughs- so I can't complain!
Growing up in the beautiful Rocky Mountains has made me into mountain-girl at heart, but I'd like to believe that my huge passion to travel abroad is what best defines me as a human. I value authentic individuals and deep conversations, crave new experiences and living to the fullest, and have a passion for helping others live happier, healthier lives.
How does this apply to my chosen career in marketing? Honestly, I'm still trying to figure that out (aren't we all?!) All I know for sure is that I've been described as proactive and thoughtful by friends/family, dedicated and organized by coworkers, and "my best friend" by my Golden Retriever, Lou.
These qualities have dunked me into ad agency work at MRM//McCann, social media management at the University of Utah's AdThing, congressional assisting on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., event coordinating with Bluebird Event Management, and magazine editorial work with Utah Stories Magazine and FemaleFoodie.com.
As one can see by this vast and (I'll admit) random, yet competent list of experiences, I have a lot to offer, but definitely a lot to learn. I can't wait to figure out what's next!
